I'm having a catharsis....

I was driving back to West Georgia from home the other day on 166 which is two lanes. I was in the left lane while a tracker trailer was in the right lane right next to me. We were coming up to a green light when the tracker trailer decided to come immediately over into the left lane so he could turn left at the light BUT he forgot to look before he started coming over. The tracker trailer did not turn on his blinker and the next thing I know was he was getting closer and closer to my car. I had no where to go because there was a car in front of me and behind me and the grass median was basically a ditch. I tried honking my horn over and over but that didn't work. I was beginning to freak out. Where to go? What to do? I was completely terrified. Luckily, I decided to hit the gas as hard as I could, sped up until I was right under the stoplight then swerved around the front of the tracker trailer nearly missing him as he came into the left lane. I had to pull over after that and catch my breath, because I was shocked about what had just happened. After this, I called all my very close friends and family to tell them that I loved them. It just made me realize you never know what is going to happen. This instance put things into perspective for me.
